floordrobe

noun; blending
A humorous reference to a messy bedroom, in which the inhabitant’s clothes are kept on the floor rather than in the closet.

The fact that “floor” rhymes perfectly with “war” makes this neologism appealing. It is usually used in a playfully condescending manner. It was probably coined because of the fact that many teens simply throw their clothes (whether dirty or even clean) on the floor rather than taking the time to hang them.
Etymology : Blend of “floor” and “wardrobe.”
