The act of doing productive things, with the purpose of putting off doing actual, more pressing or important work. The term is especially applicable in a college setting, where students are constantly looking for reasons to procrastinate. Doing productive things is a way to feel less guilty about procrastinating.
Etymology : Derived by the combination of procrastination + (product)ivity.
