On the social bookmarking website digg.com, the act of "voting up" a story. The users at digg.com submit stories and articles which are then voted on by the rest of the community, either postively (digg) or negatively (bury). These votes are an integral part of the algorithm that the website uses to select which submissions have merit.
 
If enough people digg your story, it will make it onto the front page
