- So how much mindfuckery was in that book? So much!
mindfuckery
noun; compounding
Something which “fucks with one’s mind.” When a person experiences something that makes them question everything they hold to be true about how the world works, that is mindfuckery. Often refers to plot twists in movies or books.
Etymology : Mind+fuck+ery: ‘Mind’ is from an Old English adjective, gemynd. ‘Fuck’ refers to the English swear word, which means sexual intercourse, but the exact etymology of this word is uncertain. The suffix ‘-ery’ denotes the noun form. (OED)
