A statement denoting agreement, comprehension or satisfaction.
“Aight, I’ll go get my wallet.”
Etymology : A shortened form of alright into one syllable to ease and speed up conversation. The word alright is itself a blending of the compounded expression “all right” which means satisfactory but not especially good.
