Spot-tease

noun; compounding
Any parking spot that at first glance appears to be open, but upon closer examination is blocked by some other obstacle, including, but not limited to, a smaller car, a motorcycle, a shopping cart, etc.The term combines a parkingspot with the connotations of a tease, namely a thing who flaunts something desired and then proceeds to not give out the desired outcome. The particular formation may be characteristic of the social group who uses it, many younger teenage girls.

"Agh! That smartcar is a total spot-tease!"
Etymology : The term is a compound of spot, a clipping of the compound parkingspot, and tease, a slang word that converts the verb tease to a noun to refer to someone who implies something good will happen but never makes it happen.
