Being under the influence of MDMA (ecstasy).
 
Used to describe a flowing, relaxing high which fluctuates in intensity, creating a “rolling” feeling. The term was likely coined to relate this sensation more accurately.
Etymology : Widening as a result of semantic change.
Source : “People are rolling and everything…” Rice student facetiously describing a particular area in his hometown (November 2010).
