harf

sound symbolism Verb
Harf, as the sound suggests means – to be completely exhausted. So exhausted, that the person gets nauseous.

After playing squash and racquetball he was so harfed out that he could barely walk to his dorm.
Etymology : I feel this word is derived from the noise that a dog makes when he is absolutely tired after a long run or a walk. Can also be related to the sound that a person makes after a long run.
